It's back!
That's right! The camera is back - a little late for pictures of the grand-children when they stayed with us last week.
On July 1, Nick, Sue and family arrived for the weekend. After a beautiful afternoon at Uncle Marc's cottage we all returned home with a stop at Labelle's in Lachute for some hot dogs and fries! Mmmmm, so good!!!
Saturday was mostly at home with a visit to great-grandma in the afternoon and a B-B-Q at night. The Sunday picnic at Beaver Lake on Mount Royal with tadpoles, mounted police and lots of fun at the park was a great success. Nick and Sue returned home and Darcy and Wesley stayed with Grandmaman and Papa. We visited the Biodome and saw beavers and penguins along with lots of other animals. We went to the splash park not far from the house and had a wonderful time getting wet and shooting the giant water pistols.
The breakfast menu was the standard crepes and waffles - with fruit, if you please!
Lots of fun activities both at home and with Emily, the girl next door for Darcy.
A VIA train trip was a treat as neither of the children had been on a long train ride before. Sue met us at the station and the holiday with Grandmaman and Papa was over. Sorry there are no pictures to document this event.
Here is the first picture taken at the camera store by the resuscitated camera!
That's all, folks!
